Phase 1: Owner Setup

Set Up Your Card (15 to 30 minutes)

Before training your staff, set up your loyalty card in the Suki Cards dashboard.

Log In

Go to app.suki.cards and log in to your dashboard.

Create Your First Card

Click "Create New Card" and pick the card type that fits your business — Stamps for cafés, Cashback for salons, Membership for gyms, Gift Card for spas, and so on.

Customize the Design

Upload your logo, choose brand colors, set your reward rules, and save.

Download Your Marketing Kit

Download the pre-designed poster with your QR code, ready to print. Or download just the QR code if you'd rather create a custom poster.

Print and Display

Print at A4 or A5 size. Display where customers can see it — counter, cashier, tables, entrance.

Phase 1.5: Scanner App

Install the Scanner App

The Scanner App is how your staff credits visits, stamps, and rewards to customer cards. Install it on every store device (phone or tablet) that will handle customers.

📱 What the Scanner App doesFree mobile app for iOS and Android. Staff opens it, taps Scan, points the camera at the customer's loyalty card, and the visit is credited automatically. Takes 2 seconds per scan.

Download the App

Search "Suki Cards Scanner" on the App Store or Google Play. Or open help.suki.cards/docs/how-it-works/ on the store device for direct download links.

Log In with Staff Credentials

Open the app, log in with the staff account credentials you created in your Suki Cards dashboard. Don't share owner credentials.

Grant Camera Permission

The app needs camera access to scan QR codes. Tap Allow when prompted.

Test a Scan

Scan any of your loyalty cards as a test. If a confirmation appears, the app is ready for daily use.

Phase 2: Staff Training

Daily Customer Workflow

What staff does at the counter. Two scenarios:
A. New customer → register them (steps below)
B. Returning customer → scan their loyalty card with the Scanner App to credit a visit, stamp, or reward

Ask the Customer

When the customer is ordering or paying, ask if they want to sign up for the Suki Card (new) or show their existing card (returning). Use the scripts below.

Open Registration or Scanner

New customer: Open the registration link or QR code on the store phone/tablet.
Returning customer: Open the Scanner App and scan their loyalty card.

📌 Bookmark the registration link AND keep the Scanner App on the home screen for one-tap access.

Fill In Details (New Customers Only)

Enter the customer's basic info:

Required: First Name, Phone Number (mobile)
Optional but recommended: Birthday (for birthday promo)

💡 If the customer doesn't want to give their birthday, that's okay. But explain they'll get a birthday surprise if they do.

Submit or Credit

New: Click Submit. They're added as a Suki customer and the card installs in their phone wallet.
Returning: Scanner credits the visit/stamp/reward automatically.

✅ Card appears in wallet = new registration successful. Confirmation in Scanner App = visit credited successfully.

Inform the Customer

Tell them:
• The card is now in their Apple Wallet or Google Wallet (new) or their progress was updated (returning)
• They'll earn rewards every time they show their card
• If on Growth Suite, they'll get exclusive promos and a birthday surprise

How much does the Suki Card cost?

Free for customers. No charge to sign up.

What is the Scanner App?

A free mobile app installed on store devices (phone or tablet) that staff uses to scan customer loyalty cards. Each scan credits the customer for their visit — adds a stamp, awards points, or redeems a reward. Full installation guide at help.suki.cards/docs/how-it-works/

Do all plans include SMS automation?

SMS automation is part of our Growth Suite upgrade, not the base Grow or Business plans. With the base plans you get the full loyalty card platform — perfect if you want to manage customer engagement manually. Add Growth Suite anytime to enable automated review requests, birthday offers, win-back, and referrals.

What if they don't want to sign up?

That's okay! Never force it. Offer again next visit.

What if the phone number is wrong?

If they don't receive the Welcome text (Growth Suite only) or can't find the card in their wallet, check the number. It can be updated in the dashboard.

Is it spam?

No. Messages are limited — Welcome, Birthday, and promos only when there's an event. Not daily or weekly spam.

What if they want to unsubscribe?

They can be removed from the system. Just contact the admin or reply STOP to any SMS.

Does it work on all phones?

Yes — the card works on any phone with Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. SMS automation works on any phone with a SIM card.
